Digital Art - such a controversial subject. But I love it. Combining the old with the new. Using a tablet as my paper, this image was painted stroke by stroke with soft pastels, chalky pastels, oily pastels, and barely there pastels. Hang it on your wall and display your interest in evolving art!
The light playing on Tracy's face was what I wanted to capture in this image; her quietly pensive, almost smiling face was the clincher to having to capture her in pastels.So much softness in such strong features. The human face --- it intrigues all of us, and never can we resist that second look.
